Nvidia has two entry, mainstream 40nm
It looks like Nvidia plans another rebrand, and we already wrote that the company plans to rename some of its older products to GT100, GT120 and GT130, at least in the OEM market. Some of these chips might be renamed again, at least internally. GT100 is 40nm entry level chip and it might get the final GT210 brand name.
WD finally launches 2TB drive
WD’s much talked about 2TB hard drive has gone on sale in Australia, and we’re expecting it to pop up in Europe and the States within days, if not hours. We were expecting it last week, but it seems WD wasn’t in much of a hurry to launch it.
YouTube allows users to delete comments
YouTube has released a new feature that designed to help those who post late at night after drinking too much. The comment regret feature allows punters to delete their own comments from the thread which accompanies videos on YouTube. YouTube said in a statement: “Whether you misspelled “pwned,” back in the day when you were just a n00b to the internets, or you simply said something you wish you could take back — now you can remove your commentary at any time.”

Ubisoft took the lid off today on what we had already told you, with the announcement that Assassin’s Creed 2 is now confirmed. They also announced that holiday sales were up 13 percent, but some holiday title releases did not meet the required quality levels.

China shuts down 1,250 websites
Chinese authorities have closed 1,250 websites as part of the county’s latest month-long crackdown on online filth. The latest campaign against porn and vulgar content was announced on January 5, and Liu Zhengrong, deputy director of the Cabinet’s Internet Affairs Bureau, claims authorities have arrested 41 people so far.

YouTube nukes Israeli air strike videos
